More Celebrating Friends Of Scriptural Grace!
I'm a little sad that this is my last post celebrating some of the awesome people that I have met in this journey with Scriptural Grace!
It is very scary doing something new but Philippians 4:13 is a verse that I cling to and it gets me through. Sometimes it can be difficult learning new things and maybe at times I have wondered do I have authority to design and write about scripture but if it blesses just one person, then this is a job that I will prayerfully continue to work at!
The first person that I would like to introduce you to is Kelly. She is an amazing coach in all things about business and she has a huge heart for Jesus and to bless others. I am currently working through her beta course, Instacline.
I’m Kelly. It means “Warrior” and the Lord has allowed some pretty difficult trials in my life that have stretched me in the most amazing ways to bring transformation to my life. Along with my loving husband, I’m fortunate enough to have three beautiful children- all unique and each one a reminder of three very different life-altering circumstances. But the Lord is so good. Through my trials, he led me to my business. Equipping busy Christian moms with the tools and resources they need to grow profitable faith-based online businesses with integrity. The Lord is first and foremost my great Motivator. John 16:7 says the Holy Spirit is our advantage and I think many of us forget that He can be ignited inside of us- and so can do so much more through us if we give Him the opportunity by praying for more of His power. Acts 1:8 says we receive more of His power- and it’s His power that motivates me to take action and not to go with the ebbs and flows of society and to help equip others to do the same. A faith based business can’t and shouldn’t be run the way the world runs a business. It’s time to take the world’s leadership books, throw them out the window, and grab The Book which is the Bible. Study it, write it on our door posts, meditate on it, and most importantly, apply it to our lives. I help busy Christian moms uncover the mystery of online business by giving them the tools and resources they need to fast track their income and impact.
Thank you Kelly! If you would like to find out more, take a look at her website here: https://www.kcompton.com/ and you will find her awesome Faith in Business: Christian Women Entrepreneur Community here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/279274756342229/
Another lady that has a big impact in my life this year is LaDonna! Her passion for Jesus and her desire to serve others is infectious! She also has an amazing miracle story of how her boy was born!
1. Who are you? Hey guys! My name is LaDonna and I am from Faith Family and Miracles. 2. What do you do/ sell/ help? I blog at Faith Family and Miracles where I write to encourage Christian Moms and this often includes faith life, the mom life and real everyday life. I have several FREE e-mail challenges that my audience loves. One is Pray For Your Husband Challenge and the other is Cover Your Child In Prayer. I just recently launched the Sweet Southern Hospitality - A Complete In-Home Bible Study Preparation Kit that has been an amazing help for women who need a step by step guide on how to host a Bible Study in their home. 3.Why do you do it? I’ve found that so many Christian Moms who put their heart and soul into everything they do struggle with realizing their worth, finding time for themselves and finding time alone with God. This is why my passion is to talk about real life issues, encourage your walk with God, and find solutions to not become so overwhelmed. 4. Add any photos and any links! Let me introduce you to my friend Sherril- she is a fabulous encourager!
Hi! My name is Sherril and I am a wife, mom, nurse, encourager and business owner.
My mission is to help women find their best life, feel good about how they look and feel, encourage them to reach their fullest potential and to live a life of happiness and abundance.
I have a FB group for empty nest moms or moms of high schoolers who are preparing to be empty nest moms. It is a community for encouragement, help with managing the difficult transition, tips for improving overall self, healthy recipe ideas, etc. I hope you will join us in Redesigned Moms. https://www.facebook.com/groups/redesignedmoms/?ref=share
I also work with women of all ages who want to lose weight, improve sleep, or just want to feel better overall. My greatest blessing right now is helping women build a business they can do from home while helping others improve their health and wellness. I am currently looking for women to mentor along as they build a successful business. https://m.me/sherrilporterfield1?ref=w7447574
Thank you Sherril!
And the last lady I want to introduce to you is my friend Naomi. She is such a strong woman, knows and understands the power of prayer and miracles. She has a beautiful little boy and a husband that has faced too many battles with health. Come read their story and if you know anyone that needs the encouragement that Naomi can bring , tell them about her page and group on Facebook.
Thank you so much Karen! Your support has meant so much to me and my family this year. Xx 1. I’m Naomi, I’m a mommy to a very active, almost 2 year old and a music teacher. 2. I’m just starting a support group for the whole family affected by cancer. 3. I was 6 months pregnant when my husband was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and I was already nursing my dad through end stage pancreatic cancer. I found there to be very little (read NO) support out there for the family of the person suffering and wanted to do something to change that. https://www.facebook.com/sharingumbrellasuk/
This is the first post that Naomi has on her page:
Here it is. What a journey it's been this far! If you're reading this and you don't know me, my name is Naomi. I am a wife and a mother, and 2 years ago my life was turned upside down by my husband's cancer diagnosis. The news came to us while I 6 months pregnant with our little boy and nursing my Dad through end stage pancreatic cancer. Little did I know that this would turn into a 2-year-long battle with a mere 6 week remission while my Dad breathed his last. I didn't realise how little support there was for young (ish) families that were battling this horrible illness, especially if you weren't the sick one. This page is my response to that. If you have found me because someone you love dearly is battling cancer, come and join me in the Sharing Umbrellas Support Group. Feel free to ask questions on here or send me a message too and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
So there you have it! I have tried to share with you some of the awesome people that I have met this past year. There are quite a few more but I would never finish these blog posts on celebrating the people I have met in the past year!
