Welcome to this months scripture writing challenge - Fall For Jesus !
Our Bible plan this month is on the topic of falling in love with Jesus. I have enjoyed the summer months but I'm ready for cooler temperatures, my favorite scripture hoodies and the Autumnal colors of the landscape! I just love going for brisk walks through crunchy, crisp leaves!
Have you come across the phrase ' Fall for Jesus, He never leaves ' ? I just love it and I have being designing products with this phrase - I can't wait to show you! I shared a sneak peek on Facebook a few weeks ago and I didn't expect to receive the positive comments on it. It caught my attention and I thought it would be a great idea to explore what it means to really fall in love with Jesus.
So go grab a mug of Pumpkin Spice coffee and come sit with me for awhile!
If we want to grow in our faith in God, we must move what we know about Him from our heads to our hearts. We must fall in love with His son, Jesus ! You need to know Jesus as a real person, not just someone you study in your Bible but the living, breathing Jesus in your heart.
To fall in love with Jesus, we must spend time getting to know Him. We need to establish a deep ,meaningful relationship with Him.
We need to know Jesus deeper than on a superficial level. This takes time and persistence. Put in the same effort that you would in all your relationships.
The Bible tells us that we need to abide in Him, John 15:9.
"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in My love. "
Jesus wants all of us! He wants our hearts and emotions.
How do we get to that place ?
That is my mission with this months scripture writing challenge. Come join me as we write out these scriptures, spend time meditating on them and praying through them. Ask God to show you who you are in Him as you soak in His presence.
I have found it more beneficial to take two days over a verse, so this month I have chosen 16 Bible verses to meditate on, to consider falling in love with Jesus !
You will find a free printable poster in the resource library. You can print it at home and place on your wall - frame it or laminate it. Use it to remind you that this month is for 'falling in love with Jesus because He never leaves us' !
You will also find pretty writing paper to journal your thoughts and I have also provided cards to write out any of the verses that you would like to keep handy. You could use them as bookmarks or as 'tip-ins' in your Bible. I teach Sunday school in our church with children of all ages and they love to use washi tape to stick them in their coloring in Bibles !

So this month as I watch for the change of colors of the leaves as they fall, creating a beautiful,crisp, colorful carpet on the fields and path around my beautiful home in Ireland, I will be considering how to fall more in love with Jesus. Come join me in this endeavor !
