Daughter Of The King!
Welcome to the Daughter Of The King scripture writing challenge !
If you haven't joined our scripture writing challenge at Scriptural Grace before, we follow a Bible plan on a specific theme for a calendar month.
This coming month, we are looking at what it means to be a daughter of The King!
Have you read this inspirational poem before?
I have used it to design on numerous products in our shop and it is very popular. That is why I decided to dig deep into the poem and contemplate why we all love it so much.
What does it mean to be a " daughter of The King "?
What it really is all about, is who we are " in Christ "?
Here is this special poem [ you will find it to download in our resource library ]
For this month, I want to focus on four different verses a week. This gives you more time to linger and savor each verse and to contemplate what God is saying about you to you. What do you think?
It should take about ten minutes to write out your verse, to pray over it and listen to what God is saying to you about it. If you can spend longer, read the whole chapter , to read it in it's proper context. Try and reflect on it throughout the day and journal any thoughts that you may have on it. I have provided some printable work sheets that you will find in the resource library. In this file you will find a sheet with a list of Bible verses on it with tick boxes, so that you can check mark them when you have read them. I have also provided a pretty piece of stationary to record your verse, thoughts and prayers. You can print it as many times as you need to. You could also use a notebook of your choosing. To help you remember each verse, I have also made them into little cards that are small enough to place in your Bible, stick on your mirror, refrigerator, door etc. There are two on every page. Just cut them out with a scissors and use in whatever way encourages you!
Let me know your own unique way of using these affirmation scripture cards!
So lets take action! Come find out how precious you are as a daughter of The King! Yes, we are sinners but through Christ we are redeemed!
During the week we will unpack each verse over on our FACEBOOK page. You can share what you are learning or keep it between you and God but please come join us there!
1. Download the scripture verse list, journal paper, scripture affirmation cards and poster of the Daughter of The King poster HERE.
2. Find a quiet place with your cup of coffee, Bible and a favorite pen.
3.Pray as you write your scripture verse for the day.
4. Ask God to reveal Himself to you and listen for the Holy Spirit to speak to you.
5. If you feel convicted of something - confess it and ask for forgiveness.
6. If you feel moved to worship - worship God! Just enjoy His presence.
7. Most important : make an appointment with yourself, journal and God everyday for your scripture writing time. I find it works best for me to do it in the morning. It helps me to gain ' God's perspective ' on my day. But you do it in your own perfect time.
Let me know how you get on with this scripture writing plan. You can leave a message on this post, on our FACEBOOK page or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before you go rushing off to download the free printable in the resource library, I just want to share a few of the items in our shop belonging to the Daughter of the king collection.
I want to get to know you more. So come on over to my Facebook page. You will find posts to encourage you as you grow in your walk with Jesus.
It's all about His grace!
