A February prayer to help you rest in God as your refuge, walk in integrity, and live fearlessly in His love.
February can feel like the month where motivation dips. The “new year energy” fades, the days can feel long, and worries creep back in. That’s why February is a perfect time to anchor your heart again—not in your circumstances, but in God Himself.
A Prayer for February, you can pray at the start of the month (or anytime)
The Scriptures behind it (Psalm 90:1, Proverbs 12:22, and 1 John 4:18)
And what’s inside my digital February Prayer Journal, which is part of the 365-Day Prayer Challenge—a guided way to help you pray consistently for yourself, your family, your church, and the world.

If you’ve ever wanted to “pray without ceasing,” but didn’t know how to stay focused day after day, this is for you.
What to Pray for in February (3 ideas)
February’s prayer focus is simple but powerful:
1) Refuge and rest in God
Start the month remembering: God is not just present—He is your dwelling place, your home, your safe place. When life feels uncertain, His presence stays steady.
2) Integrity in words and actions
This month also calls us to honest living—truthful speech, sincere hearts, clean hands. Integrity isn’t just “being good.” It’s letting God shape how you speak, respond, and walk when nobody’s watching.
3) Freedom from fear through God’s love
Fear can be loud—fear of the future, fear of loss, fear of not being enough. But God’s perfect love is stronger. February is a month to practice returning to His love until your heart calms again.
Now, here is the February prayer you can pray today—and return to all month long.

Prayer For February
Heavenly Father,
Lord, I praise You for being my eternal dwelling place. From generation to generation, You have been faithful and constant. You are my refuge and my source of peace in every season. Your presence is my safe haven, and I stand in awe of Your love and faithfulness. I adore You for being unchanging, sovereign, and always near. You are my God, and I trust in You completely.
Father, I come before You with a repentant heart, confessing the times when my words or actions have not reflected Your truth. Forgive me for any dishonesty, whether in speech or in withholding what is right. Help me to walk in integrity and to speak with kindness and truth. Shape my heart to delight in honesty, knowing it pleases You. Purify my thoughts, words, and deeds so they may bring glory to Your name.
Thank You, Lord, for Your perfect love that casts out all fear. In Your love, I find security, peace, and joy. Thank You for loving me unconditionally and for reminding me that I am never alone. I am so grateful for the confidence I have in You—a love that overcomes every worry and doubt. Thank You for walking with me through this month, calming my fears and filling my heart with Your presence.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Psalm 90:1, Proverbs 12:22, and 1 John 4:18
