March often feels like a turning point. The year is moving, routines are being tested, and it’s easy to realize we’ve drifted—especially in prayer. If you’ve been distracted, discouraged, or simply busy, this is your gentle reset.
In this post, you’ll find a Prayer for March you can pray throughout the month, the Bible verses behind it (Revelation 22:13, Luke 18:1, Philippians 4:19), and a simple way to “pray without ceasing”—either with the digital March Prayer Journal or the paperback prayer journal on Amazon.
What to Pray for in March
March’s prayer focus has three strong anchors:
1) Worship the Eternal God (Alpha and Omega)
Start the month by lifting your eyes. God is not reacting to your life—He reigns over it. When you remember He is the Beginning and the End, your anxiety loosens and your faith steadies.
2) Return to consistent prayer (don’t lose heart)
This month is also about honesty: admitting where you’ve drifted, and coming back. Jesus told us to always pray and not lose heart—not because prayer is easy, but because we need God’s strength to keep showing up.
3) Trust God as Provider (Philippians 4:19)
March is a perfect time to pray for provision with confidence—not just finances, but peace, strength, wisdom, and everything you need to walk faithfully.
God sees you. One of my favorite names of God is El Roi - the God Who Sees Me (I'll leave a link at the bottom of this post for you to read all about this awesome name of God). For now, just savor this thought: God sees you. He sees your tears, He sees your triumphs and your pain.
God cares. He wants you to come into His presence often so that you can remember that He is with you and will give you rest.
God provides. When we say “God provides,” we’re not repeating a slogan—we’re naming who He is. Another Hebrew name of God is Yahweh Yireh—“The LORD will provide.” Even when we don’t yet see the answer, we can trust the God who sees ahead, goes before us, and faithfully supplies what we need.
Now, here is the Prayer for March you can pray today—and come back to all month long.

Prayer For March
Father, I come before You in awe and wonder, lifting my heart in praise to You, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. You are eternal, unchanging, and sovereign over all things. Before time began, You were, and long after this world fades, You will remain. Nothing exists outside of Your knowledge and power. I worship You for Your greatness, Your holiness, and Your endless reign. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in You, I find my security and hope. Amen.
Lord, I humbly confess that I have not always been faithful in coming to You in prayer. There have been moments when I allowed distractions, worries, and busyness to pull me away from time spent in Your presence. You have called me to always pray and not lose heart, yet I have sometimes given up too soon or sought my own solutions instead of seeking You first. Forgive me, Lord, for when I have neglected the gift of communion with You. Teach me to abide in You daily and to come before You with a heart that longs to speak with You and hear Your voice. Amen.
Father, I thank You with all my heart for being my Provider. Your Word promises that You will meet all my needs according to the riches of Your glory in Christ Jesus, and time and time again, You have been faithful. In seasons of abundance and in moments of lack, You have sustained me. You have provided not only for my physical needs but also for my spiritual, emotional, and relational needs. Your grace has been more than sufficient, and Your love has never failed. Thank You for caring for me so tenderly, for supplying all I need, and for being a God who sees and provides. I trust in You, my faithful and loving Father. Amen.
In Jesus ’ name,
Amen.
Revelation 22:13, Luke 18:1, and Philippians 4:19
