30 Days Of God's Promises That Will Fill You With Strength, peace, And Hope.

Did you know that the Bible is a treasure chest full of God's promises?

There are 7,487 promises in the Bible according to some scholars. We are going to study 31 of those Bible promises and prayerfully apply them to our lives.

God never breaks His promises!

"For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. " 2 Corinthians 1:20.

What are God's promises?

When you believe with your whole heart and soul in Jesus, that He died on the cross for you - that establishes a covenant relationship with Him. You are a child of God and that means that all promises of God in the bible are available for you to claim.

Have you got endless:

  • worries

  • problems

  • uncertainty about the future

  • fears

  • temptations

  • sickness

  • anxiety?

Do you need joy, hope, peace, strength, and confidence in your life?

What if God were to tell you that He sees your situation and that He desires to walk with you through it, to guide you, and that He has everything under control?

He has! Nearly every precious word in the Bible is full of God's promises for you.

Even as I research and choose 30 Bible verses on the topic of God's promises, I have been weeping because they have brought me such comfort and hope.

The Bible is full of God's promises that you can cling to. As you study God's promises you will find many that will encourage you for the very situation that you find yourself in, right now.

I say this with full confidence because I have seen many of God's promises play out in my life. Some of them seemed impossible to come true and other promises, I still wait for God's answer.

But......

You just have to look at the long list of the Hebrew names of God and His characteristics to gain confidence that God keeps His promises. God never changes. You can read about God's name, Alpha And Omega HERE.

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Revelation 22:13.

Many of God's promises were given to Israel. God promised to deliver them from their enemies, and He did. Now that you and I have chosen to surrender our lives to God and to live as He instructs us, this then means all of God's promises are for us today too!

The Bible tells us that God loves us. God has promised to never leave us or forsake us. He promises to fight our battles and heal our diseases, calm our storms, provide for our needs, for our protection, restore relationships and so much more.

God loves us and He yearns for us to long for His presence. When we are walking closely with Him and our heart's desire is to say 'yes' to God, this often activates God's promises in our lives.

" Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us " Ephesians 3:20.

God wants us to rest in Him and to pour out His Holy Spirit on us. All we have to do is say 'yes' to God to start the process.

Waiting on the promises of God

God never breaks His promises but what do you do when it seems to be taking a long time for God's promises to manifest in your life?

What does it mean that all God's promises are 'yes' and 'Amen'?

It means that all God's promises are sure and firm. They are unchanging!

It also says in Joshua 21:45, "Not a single one of good promises the Lord had given to the families of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything He had spoken came true".

God proved faithful in fulfilling every promise He had given to Israel. However, it took some time for these promises to be fulfilled. If you have read our previous scripture plan, 'Waiting On God', you will have found a constant theme running through it was about God's timing. God's timing looks a lot different from our perception of perfect timing.

But remember, God has given us thousands of promises throughout the Bible that He will fulfill according to His timetable and not ours.

What is our part in activating God's promises?

It is all about being still in His presence, doing whatever He tells us to do - being obedient, and trusting in His faithfulness in our circumstances.

We really need to activate our faith muscle. Keep your faith in God's promises.

If you believe that God is whom He says He is and that He will do what He says He will do - no matter what the circumstances look like, then it provides the right environment for God's promises to manifest in your life.
